Larry Star, Guitar and Lead Vocals
After writing, arranging and producing the theme song to WABC Talkradio’s "Lionel in the Morning", Larry moved from New York city to Seattle in 1996. He recently gained national celebrity as the infamous "Wedding Dress Guy" that took the eBay world by storm. He writes the band’s original tunes and was instrumental (pardon the pun) in the formation of The Buzzcuts.
Steve Harris, Keyboards and Vocals
Musical influences: gospel, blues, jazz, rock. Started piano age 6; took privately until 17, majored in music in college and started playing rock & roll. Played in Air Force band and several bands in Seattle area until 1980. Took a hiatus for 25 yrs. Here I am.
Paul "Troy" Meizenthal, Lead Guitar
A wonderful and diverse musical background inspired him to develop a unique, effective and streamlined approach to playing guitar. Raised in the Bay area town of El Sobrante he began playing guitar at age 15. His first guitar was a Montgomery Ward catalog special and his first amp a shoe box with a 4 inch speaker. Always searching for his sound, he managed to "Frankenstein" the guitar with different pick up and amp combinations eventually landing on his signature sound.
Stuart Gordon, Bass and Vocals
Born and raised in Los Angeles, music is in his DNA. His dad was a professional musician and his sister’s vocal group, The Murmaids, had a big hit in the early 1960’s. He played the L.A. club circuit for many years in various classic rock, blues and ’80s bands before moving to Seattle in 1999.
Bruce "Rocket" Ericson
Born in Gentofte, Denmark to a middle-upper-class family. A tennis prodigy in his youth, Ericson moved to Los Angeles, California, at the age of seventeen, to pursue his training. He has since been considerably influential due to both the popularity of his band and his pioneering drum techniques and styles such as the machine-gun double bass.
